right now i have two problems with my truck. i have the code on my trip meter that says it needs to be further scanned with a tool. i believe the code is 1693 or something like that. anyways i had it scanned and it says their is a break in the circuit for glo plugs/ heater. scan tool was very vague but since our trucks dont have glo plugs what is this. i cant got into cold weather with a problem with the heater can i? second problem is i dont have my fuel pressure gauge hooked up right now so im scared but two times now i have been driving down the freeway at about 70mph and all the sudden for a split second my truck will what feels like cut out and then come right back, no rpm drop or anything. actually one more thing i just remembered was since it has gotten a little cooler out when i first start my truck, only when its cold the truck has uneven idle and bogs about 50 rpm or so(you can hear it in my house) and the lights will dim and it will go right back up, only lasts for a second or two. sorry for the long post but i need to get these things fixed before winter.

without a fuel pressure gauge and no code it would be hard to diagnose an issue with the truck cutting out on the freeway. Could be a number of things. IP, LP, APPS...
