Checking for Codes
My uncle has a 2000 2500 and is having a problem that acts like a speed sensor but the dealer did not check for codes. I know I have seen it posted how to do this in the truck on here before but can not find it during a search.
Help Please.

I think it is turn the key to on, then off, then on, then off and then leave on and wait for the codes to run across the odometer. At least that is what I did on my 2002.

Turn the key on/off three times ending with the key on. If there is a code (or codes) it will display in the odometer window. If none it will say P-DONE.
