Check Engine light On !
You have to pull the codes, and your year truck will need a code reader. The light comes on to tell you there is a problem, it could be anything, so until you have the codes pulled there is no way to even guess
You could try to stop in at a parts store and see if they will read your codes for you. I know at the Advance Auto that I work at we will pull codes off of your vehicle at no charge, as will many other parts stores.
