While the brakes are still hot.....jack up the front end. Try to turn both front wheels. Obviously the right should be harder to turn. Then you need to open the bleeder. If the wheel turns easy then, you have a bad hose. If the wheel still turns hard, you need a new caliper. Just because the parts are new, doesn't mean they are without chance of a flaw.Try that first and then we'll go from there.

So here is the update for those of you that have been helping. Replacing the passenger side components made the truck a lot better. For the first day or so I could feel the wheel "pull" to the right a bit, and it's gotta better. Some more cleaning and greasing (slider pins), has helped a ton! The truck itself drives great down the road, but drifts to the right under braking and I think it's because of the crown in the road.

I did a little more investigating and it seems as though the "eccentrics" that move the axle on each side forward and back for alignment are not located on the same notches. Should they be? Can I adjust these to see if it makes it any better? The truck also has one of the dodge spacers between the right front wheel and hub. Would pulling this help or hurt my situation?

Here is the specs from the alignment shop if you guys think they might be of use (was just aligned AGAIN last week).

Thanks again for the help guys,
Shawn

Although within range, the right front caster is a little high. What's the 3rd chart?

Cross camber, cross caster, and total toe respectively. Sorry, guess I chopped that part off of the chart when I was making it somehow.

edit: Is telling firestone the caster is too high and asking for a different value worthwhile, or is it something they can't adjust very easily?

One last shot. The brake hoses have been issues. 99% of time the calipers are issues. That still leaves the pesky brakes hose with internal lining failure.
Oh yes, the spacer had a purpose. It corrected a scrub angle issue. It could have been mislocated from left side or installed without need. Try taking it off and trying one more time.

Welcome to what is known to the world as " BEEP BEEP 2nd gen brakes ".

I too have had the ongoing repeating problem with brakes. Ive changed the pads numerous times. Bought new rotors twice. New calipers this last time around. Did it before and after proper alignment. Did it on multiple types and sizes of tires. (265/70/16, 285/75/16, 315/75/16)..

I've learned to just drive slower and brake well ahead of time and count the days until my debts are paid off enough to buy a new ride.

God bless the 01.5 and later 2nd gens.

My brakes work well and consistently. I'd go nuts dealing with this situation!

I almost bought a used '99 that had this problem, and I'm glad I didn't!

My 96 had it when I bought it, and I himmed and hawed because of this exact issue. One brake line fixed the problem.

This truck didn't have it when I bought it and I honestly can't remember when it started pulling but man it's annoying!

Have you changed the fluid? Not to be insulting, but...

"Changed", no. Bled every wheel enough to have new fluid coming from each corner though.
