Exclamation Bout to start towin.

Well, ive had my truck for about 6 months now, and a 9K 5th wheel is going to be purchased in about 2 weeks... I travel from city to city every week, due to my work. I would like to know if anyone can forsee me having any big problems due to the weight and or distance per week... looking like about 500 to 1k miles at a clip. Thanks alot guys.

That's funny. Hook that puppy up and never look back. Well, except to back up, change lanes, and to be sure that your trailer is still back there cause you'll never know it. Happy trucking.

Well at some point you may want to think about tranny upgrades and then an exhaust brake. SNOKING

Make sure you have an aux cooler for the tranny. Watch the tranny oil for discoloration and change it when the color darkens. Change the tranny oil and filter every 15,000 to 20,000 miles or so. Get an aux fuel tank so you can take advantage of lower fuel prices when you see them. Add coolant conditioner additive every year. Happy trailering!!!! Let us all know what your fuel economy is while towing too.

Looking at your sig your motor appears stock so, IMO, I don't forsee any tranny issues but you will certainly have converter issues if you run an Edge Comp on 3-5 while towing 9000 lbs but stock the truck should handle 9000 lbs effortlessly.........I would get yourself a tranny temp, boost and EGT gauge set up to start with and then get an Edge Comp

Should probably throw some synthetic gear lube in the rear while your at it... I run Royal Purple in mine, but there's several to choose from!
