Did you scan the truck for any OD11 errors. There might be the same problem I had governor sensor and governor solenoid p1762,and p1757.

had the same issue

yep i had the same issue its the apps sensor thats messing with ya,i did a fair bit of research on the web about it and found a couple of solutions. the one that i did i found on suncoast converters page under the electronics section. You basically pull the wire harness from the apps and cut and splice the ground and run both ends to grounds in the dash. Well i was fixing this i also adjusted my bands in the trans and i havent had the problem since and its been about 4 months hope this helps
