I went through the APPS reset procedure and it lasted for about 10 miles and the check engine light came on and the P0121 and P0122 codes came up again. I have had the truck 39 months w/ 35,650 miles on it . Is it still covered under any kind warrenty?

 

Depends on the service writer.

Some will warranty it under the engine/powertrain warranty.

Others consider it part of the bumper to bumper 36,000 warranty.

Best bet is to call around to a couple dealers and ask.

Not up to the service writer. They can "fudge" mileage, but the date is the date. The part number is entered and it will show if it's covered by the cummins warranty, which it isn't. Only hope you would have is to have a service manager waive the repair to warranty as they are the ones that make this decision.
