APPS reset procedure help

I can't seem to find the link to the instructions on how to PROPERLY set the APPS. I'm not talking about the "unhook the battery cables method", but rather the method where you check the voltage at the APPS and reset it. Can someone point me to the link or thread? Thanks.

Measured and initial voltage of 0.473 volts at pin 23. Tag on APPS reads 0.564 volts. After a quick adjustment of the APPS, it's now reading 0.564 volts. HUGE difference in the way the truck drives.

It would be nice if these could be added to the tech section.

Please be advised that re-setting your voltage will probably help squeeze a little more life out of your apps, but you better plan on getting a new one, because it is just a temporary fix on something that is on it's way out.

I agree, it's not a permanent fix, but it'll buy you time. Nobody likes to part with $400+. Ebay is the place to buy a replacement ... around $200. Wish they had something like that for the VP.
