I have read many APPS posts, but my issue doesn't seem to match any of the posts I've found. After I mash the pedal to accelerate hard it gets very soft and hyper-sensitive. Also, the trans shifts differently, holding lower gears longer and down-shifting earlier. When I shut the truck down, the problem disappears and the pedal pressure & trans return to normal. Issue occurs either with Quad XZT+ on power setting or fuel economy setting.
Any thoughts?

 

Have you attempted the APPS reset procedure by chance???

 

Yes, reset several times. Just replaced the APPS unit and issue persists. Thinking it make be a problem with the TV cable.

 

OK - really easy solution!! The TV cable was hanging up due to corrosion! Lubed it up and problem is gone!! Forgot my motto: KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid)
