I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 3500 and have been looking to buy a scanner/reader to read the ABS codes. Most of the ones that I have looked won't read the ABS codes. Does anyone know of one that will read the ABS codes on a 2000 Ram??

 

I don't know about a code reader but you can check each of your abs sensors with a ohm meter usually that is what sets of the abs light which will turn on the brake light also. Brake light fuse will also set it off.

 

I saw a scanner in Advance Auto that would do this........pricey though, it was over $200. It wasn't the normal code scanner, it was strictly for reading ABS codes.
