Abs brake light intermitent

Abs brake light intermitent

Started yesterday sometimes when i start it up the abs and brake light stay on then go off. i have heard that there is a axle sensor that needs to be checked along with vacuum. have checked the vacuum can find no leaks but need help finding sensor or sensors.

It could be a sign of a wheel bearing going south. The tone ring starts to kiss the sensor when the bearing play begins. Been a leading indicator for me twice now.

Single wire in the hub. Mines on and sitting in the shop getting two new outter u joints

For what it is worth 1800 bucks two wheel bearings an two u joints the abs n brake lights are off and she steers better no drifting

sorry it cost you so much to get your light to go out,mine is out now and i added some brake fluid.

Dodge Cowboy

I replaced the speed sensor in the rear end and the lights are now out. i had a mechanic friend show me the wire,must be goin blind.
I was over in your neck of the woods first of the month nice country over there.
Stayed a hunt park boy that place is quiet.
