As the title states tonight on the way home my abs and brake light came on. I lost the outter wheel u joint as well tonight I limped it home and parked it till my mechanic can pick it up and re do the front outters. So why would these lighta come on? Because the wheel is hot or its not spinning right ??????

 

Do you have the 4 wheel ABS option? The way to tell is there will be a single wire going to each front hub.

 

My ABS Brake Light came on about 3 months ago, brakes work fine but the ABS option is not working? 2001 4X4??

 

i had the same problem, i did the key check for codes, and it went away, now i get the same intermittent light on
