3rd gen Cummins in 2nd gen body.
Ok, I've about got all my plans lined up for my repower on my '01 2500. That being said, I'm trying to find out if it is possible, and what may be involved, to install a newer Cummins into my '01 body.
Going with an NV5600 manual tranny. Can the 6.7 be installed and work or should I stay with the 5.9? Will the dash and other electrical connections from the '01 work with the cluster? The fuel delivery etc won't be an issue, nor will the exhaust as those items can be adapted as necessary.
