2002 kdp?

Hi all, I have a 96 12 v that I have modified including the kdp fix. I just picked up a 2002 24v and I was wondering if there is a kdp issue with the 24 v engines. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Its not nearly as common on 24v as a 12v, but the timing case on my 24v was not stepped to retain the pin, so it is possible. That being said, the dowel pin was still tight in the block.

A tech buddy of mine that has been working on Dodge stuff for 10 years or better said it was a non issue on the 2002's.

Your tech buddy is wrong. Dave's Dad (fishin2deep4U) lost his on an '02. Probably much less common but still a concern.
