2002 dodge diesels
I have the 2001.5 W/Disc brakes and the non-rotating front driveshaft, I think I got the best one they ever made, and no "53 Block" either!!! 1 Lift pump at 70K, other than that, good to go!!!

I have a '02, no major problems, little things here and there, my biggest complaint is that I only get around 16.5mpg. I run between 60-70 on the freeway. It is by far the best truck I have ever owned!
I love my '02 and you will too! My main problem is that once ive become a member here I spend most of my time reading various posts and now all I think about is what mods and upgrades I can spend my money on!!! --You will find that there are tons of great people here who really know their stuff!
There is no reason to back away from a 2002, or any other 24 valve just because they have a short half life on the injection pump. Get it tested and make sure it is all in good shape when you buy the truck and then install a FASS fuel booster pump with the two additional filters. Once you keep a clean and air free supply of fuel to the pump, it will last for 100,000 miles or more.
