2001 Water Temp Guage

With 180 being straight up on the gauge where does your gauge normally
run in the summer . I,ve installed a new termostat earlier this year but mine will run a good 1/4 too 1/8" to the left of center unless your working it hard.
Then it will go just a little past an come too 180 as the stat opens closes .
Think its just my gauge ? I,m not thinking I have a proublem just wondering how others do .

2001 Trucks came with a 190 tstat. My trucks guage needle is centered when warmed up. Running the 180 is the reason yours is to the left of center.

I agree. changed mine last summer, sits at 190 with alittle movement depending on how much work truck is doing. you should be using a 190 t-stat.

I have been between 190 and 194 all summer. Granted sumer in Alberta doesn't really get very hot.
I have an Edge Insight CTS so I get a pretty detailed temperature gauge reading.
