2001.5 valves?
 

do the valves on a 2001.5 need to be adjusted? a guy at work is trying to convince me that they don't.
if so, is there anybody in the vancouver, wa. area that can do them for me or atleast help me do them? i am willing to pay them something although we are on a tight budget right now. thanks in advance for any replies.

Your friend at work is dead wrong. My 01.5 needed them dome shortly after 80,000 miles (one of the valve started ticking). They should be adjusted every 100,000 miles.

You can do them yourself if you can work a set of hand tools.

I'm a days drive from you but a bit far for just a valve adjustment...

No worse than adjusting the valves on your motorcycles or small engines...
