2-3 shift
No it was worse before. I put the VB in and it helped alot, but its still runs out too long. Is there anything else that would cause this. Every other shift is perfect and you can tell the VB really makes the converter work more efficiently but that dang 2-3 shift seems like it never wants to happen sometimes
Give Dave a call and see what he says. A different spring should be able to be put in the VB for a quicker 2-3 shift. At least I think you can, but I don't know all about the eletronically controlled trannys.
Usually the late 2-3 shift is caused by internal leaks in the 2-3 circuit. Most say it is the piston seals for the front clutch (3rd+ reverse). Of course this needs an R+R to fix.
You could try an additive that refreshes the seals. It would be a short term fix, but does help to locate the problem.
It could be a spring issue, a stuck valve, an incorrectly adjusted TV cable.
A pressure guage helps a lot to understand it also.

This tranny has less then 1000 miles on it since thge rebuild...wierd thing, I did the apps reset and it seems to be fine now
I dont think that would have anything to do with it though...who knows
