Where is the best place to get 12 volt supply with the key on. thanks

I tapped an unused port in the fuse box on the driverside of the dash.

Here's where I tapped mine for gauges. The left is the illumination and the right is the keyed 12 volt source. I'm too lazy to go out to my truck and look right now, but I'm sure you can find it from the picture ... if not, I'll check tomorrow.

Fuse 17 should have keyed power, as its the fuse you tap for an Edge box. I plan to eventually hook my gauges up there so I can see whats going on during startup.
