I've been able to buy every sensor used on a Cummins engine from Napa for a quarter of the Cummins or dealer price. Just tell them your vehicle info and the part you need, they'll look it up.

This was hard for me as I called into town and the NAPA main distribution store I was given a part# and a price but was told it is not available, not out of stock, not available! GRRRR! have you bought a map sensor recently?

It's been a year or more, don't remember the price but do remember the Cummins number didn't cross over and it's called a Pressure Sensor rather than MAP by Napa.
You might be able to find the number yourself by going to www.napaonline.com

Hmmmm, I just went to NAPA last week and asked for a MAP sensor, they said they did not carry them????

Maybe if I ask for a pressure sensor is the trick???

I'll try that.

Just went over to the napa online site put in my vehicle information and for engine options the cummins 5.9 was not listed, only v8 and v10.

I called the local major Cummins distributor and they said that was a Dodge only part?????

I said are you sure? He says yep, you HAVE to get it from your Dodge dealer.

What gives?

I got mine last year from Cummins, no problem. It is a Cummins part, not a Dodge part. The Cummins commercial engines use the same one, such as mine is running right now.
