Zf6 behind a 12v?

Ive been wanting to do a standard swap into my 90' since i got the truck and ive got the chance to get a zf6 out of a 2000 7.3 powerstroke, ive read about people doing it using the destroked adaptor and such but i want to know what else i would need to do to swap out my auto and throw this in? Clutches, t case, clutch cylinders etc... Any ideas?

I've thought that would be a good swap, too, probably be easiest if you could go to u-pick-em and get all that stuff with it. Probably see something you wouldn't think of otherwise.

Tcase could get interesting, I believe the Ford is a 31 spine? The 271 clocks to the other side ( drivers ) not sure if there is a Pass. 271.

It would be an expensive swap, would be much cheaper to get a G56 and not deal with the extra stuff.

Well i would be able to go to the truck and just say i need this this this and this, plus im a machinist so i can make some unobtainium parts haha

Check out 4bt swaps. They have some good info on various transmission adaptations.

Might be easiest to use a divorced 205 transfer case.
