wiper control module and delay module?

Anyone been able to locate one new? Also is this one module for both functions or is it two separate modules?

When I first got my truck the delay wiper wouldn't work. The wipers would only work on high. I looked for a new module and couldn't find one but I found a diagram. I decided to put my EE skils to the test and try to repair it. I soon discovered that the module was fine and the plug had one of the connectors broken so it didn't make contact. I wound up soldering the wires directly to the module PCB and it works fine now and has ever since.

Check the connector before you worry about the module.

Good to know. Thanks! The unavailability of parts for our trucks is getting old.

So are our our trucks, and most of the replacement parts for them are sub-par as far as quality control goes

I believe the wipers will still work with no module hooked up, just won't park and you only have low and high speeds....but been a lot of years since I messed with that set-up so I could be in error.

Then based on what Edwin reported, your problem may be nothing worse than an open circuit in a connector......Ben
