whos building/built the viper black crew cab?

i saw it yesterday when i was flipping through the archives, the truck i believe has a 4 inch lift in it is well, the reason i need to find them is because i thought i saw a pic in the thread involving the main wiring hookup. did they have to move it over an inch to one side or the other to clear the clutch bracket?

Yes it needs to be moved over. I had the same issue. But it's an easy fix.

Ya its about that, you just have to move it over far enough that you can drill a hole to install your master cylinder. If your trucks an auto you don't have to move it

? I just eye balled it. Mines about 1.5". Mine was ugly I used s saws all to extend the old hole, then welded in a piece of sheet metal to cover the over sized spot I made.

I built a rubber grommit in that section on mine and then used it to runs wires through the fire wall into the cab

The link to the build is in my signature, I basically just copied all the dimensions off the 92's firewall. If you need some help figuring things out just let me know.

The plug/connector opening is enlarged over to the right by exactly 1/2 of the original width of the original opening. Then you cut a piece of body metal 1/2 the size of the original opening and weld it in place on the left side of the original opening. I made a template from an old firewall which I bolted onto the firewall and used as a guide to locate the exact factory positions of the newer openings. Mcmaster.com , Lowes, Home Depot, and usually your other local hardware stores sell the hole saws required to bore the clutch and wiring holes. On the mid 80's cabs there is one hole that need to be welded shut before you bore the new holes or you will have a missing chunk of firewall exposed. I guess if you don't care anything about your quality of work you could just gob this opening closed with a blob of silicone sealant or some electrical meter socket sealing clay?
