Can someone who has a longbox extended cab tell me the length from center to center of the front to rear axle.What I want to know is if the frame from a short box crew cab is the same as a long box extened cab. Thanks

I believe it's 149 inches.

 

Best I know, reg cab short box 115, regcab long box 131, clubcab short box 133, clubcab long box 149. I think a crewcab shot box was 153, but that is from memory. (disclaimer: Memory can be fuzzy, should not be trusted :)

 

Thanks, I am just wondering if a crew cab short box will fit on a extended cab long box frame. It looks like it will work but I need to find a bare frame to make some more measurments.

A Crew cab frame is different than any other type of cab, no mater what the wheel base. The Crew cab frame has a longer belly (area under the cab) I had a Crew short box and the WB was 149in and a long WB Crew is 165in.
A short box Club cab WB is 133in and a long WB would be 149in. A Club cab frame is a Regular cab frame just with the rear cab mounts moved back
Basicaly there is 16 in differance betwene a short WB and a long WB unless you get into Cab and Chassis then other frame/WB lengths come into play.
