wheel/tire questions

I want to go up from a 265/75/16 to a 285/75/16. I currently have a set of chrome wheels off a 96 truck on my truck but have the factory wheels at home except two chrome rings and front center caps. Question is whether or not to go up in tire size (truck is used to haul cattle/equip), do I need wider wheels, does anyone have suggestions on where to get wheels and factory trim. I would like to go back with the stock look. Thanks

I think going to a 285 would be pusing it on the stock rims. It wont hurt anything per se, but I think the 265 is the limit. I'd sya a 7" rim would be ideal.

Just curious- why are you wanting to go with a 285? I have 265s, and am debating going back to the stock 235 or maybe a 255 next time around.
