Waiting for snow!
The plow was supose to go on the tractor (International 1456 with big tire chains) but the the springs that trip the blade are worn out so the entire blade keeps tripping making it useless. So dad put an old 8 foot blade on the tractor instead.
I needed to smooth out the ruts in the door yard from the trailer trucks and 45 degree days (big frost hole). So it was either the 10 footer or the dinky not even 7 foot blade. Of course I pick the big one. These trucks are close enough to tractors anyways right
My brothers chevy one ton with the 454 had to rev up quite a bit to get enough hydralic pressure to just lift the blade, even then I think the truck had more movement than the blade. We were just moving the blade then, the truck couldnt handle it anyways.
I was suprised when my electric pump lifted it right up.
We will find out how much extra weight we need in a few months when the snow starts to drift. I showed my Father the truck so I think he will end up in the seat before the winter is through. He has a GMC 2500 with a 9 foot V-plow, its nice but the litttle gasser inst going to be able to play with the cummins

We had 3-4 mostly on the grass this morn all the way up in the north edge of NJ. Is that a Diamond blade on a Fisher mount? That pump you got is the same one they'd put on a 10' fisher plow for a single axle truck, they'll lift a lot of weight. Nice rig, definitely needs ballast in the bed.
