So what's your game plan for breaking 1,000hp? Inquiring minds want to know

And which track record? Quickest manual VE? Or going after the all-time record of 12.56?

GHLS's is one of the coolest though. At over 5500 feet elevation It can still pull off a 13.3-13.5 and it's a club cab 4x4.

13.8

All time fastest manual diesel.

Cant tell you all my secrets, but it involves lots of injectables. I told Jeremy (stomp) when I talked to him last. Just hope he doesnt use nitromethane too. Hahaha

I think I have ways to deal with that and run some suprising times. I can spool and spray my way between shifts.

Dont think im in the playing field with JQ and a 97x whp auto, but it would be a fun time at the track.
Or do like someone I know with a 6 speed powerjoke. Never lift your right foot.

Those were pretty close matches, got the vette on reaction time and lost to the duramax on reaction time.

It's gotten slower since he raced the vette. I can't remember what he said he did. But it was a couple years ago and I remember him posting it was a tad not as fast as it once was. Still awesome though

What would cause it to go slower?

I've been starting to think lately, with the amount of miles my '90 has on the original pump, that pump must be well worn at this point, but not to the point that it won't idle when hot, luckily. Now that I've been thinking, when I dyno'd back in Aug. 2010, it laid down 263hp/610ft. lbs with all the mods you see, minus the PS i/c and 5x.012 injectors. I was running 4x.014s and a Banks i/c then. I was hoping to and guessed that it would make at least 250hp but wondering if I could have made more with a healthier pump. With a manual trans and good clutch, I know there was no slippage.

Sorry to hijack from pwrtripls1.

the pump that was on the 93 primer truck had 360k miles on it and it'd fuel up to 3400 rpm and run low 15's in the 1/4 mile LOL

I am glad to hear that you have it up and running down the road again. It should be exciting to see what it is going to be capable of when you get it dialed in.

Looks like I might be headed to San Antonio for a class on Feb 13th-17. If I get the confirmation for my enrolment I will give you a call and see if we could meet up.
