I have 91 power ram with auto how can i tell what kind of trans i got 500,518,618,or 727,also i been told that if they have electric hookup they can be made to overdrive with simple modification

if it doesnt have OD its a 727, if it does its a 518. anything other then that and at sometime it was replaced. if it does have OD it should be right next to your cargo light button
