i went to the old junk yard we got around here i saw some old turbo just wondering if those kinds of turbo housings could fit on our trucks hes got some airresearch,deutz and schwitzer just wondering wat kind in those 3 company names would fit im only interested in the housings wat do i have to watch for

 

More than likely those two company's housings will not bolt up to your Holset H1C turbo. You're not gonna find a Holset hx35 16cm housing in a junkyard. Either all of the junkyard turbo or nothing. Now if you can find a industrial 5.9 you can score the 12cm housing off it.

There are only so many types of mounting flanges that turbo's use. Commonly called the "foot" which would be the flange on the exhaust housing that bolts to the exhaust manifold, I believe that the flange on the hx series is the same as a t3 flange. Just need to use the old tape measure!!
