Truck Ignition/Door Key

If you lose the only key to your truck like I did, here is the Chrysler Part number for the blank: 4796386. Note: It is a "G" code key. The dealership could not cut it as they said they can only cut "L or M" code keys.

Use the last 8 digits of your VIN number to get the code. It saves about $20-$40 to have your key code for the locksmith.

So the OEM blank cost me $11. Locksmith is $20 since I have the code.

Good to know! Does the dealer still have these keys?
