Ok, I know the valve body can be pulled and a shift kit installed. The pressure can be adjusted... Can I replace the low/reverse servo and the band strut+ anchor with the trans in the truck???

It can be done but it is a tight fit to get the servo out. You have to remove the valvebody then loosen the band adjustment up all the way.
