tranny throttle lever cable adjustment on 93 cummin

tranny throttle lever cable adjustment on 93 cummin

my overdrive keeps going in and out was wondering how to adjust throttle lever cable for tranny also does it suppose to have a spring pulling it forward towards front of truck at injectorpump any help would be great thank you doug

That cable adjustment only controls the 1-2 and 2-3 shift. The tps controllers od look in the sticky for the potentiometer fix it is cheap and easy and works great.

OD shift is controlled by the throttle position sensor on top of your injection pump. It could be getting flaky, or out of adjustment. Yes you should have a spring on the TV cable. There should be an eye bolted to the timing cover to hook it onto.
