Tranny Temp Sensor Location on a 93

Got my gauges coming, had the underside steam cleaned. Where/ how does the temp sensor mount on the tranny?<br><br>Jay

I mounted mine on a replacement hose with a temp probe manifold on it. Got rid of the plastic quick connects that way. You want to have that sender on the hot line coming out of the tranny so you can see the actual temp before it has a chance to mix with the cool fluid in the pan. You get a more accurate temp read that way.
