Track width on a 93 drw
Hey Guy's I am getting ready to go pick up my part's truck in a few week's and need to know guess on curb weight and how long is the wheel base and how wide is track width on a single cab drw 93 diesel I plan on pulling outter dual so it will make it easier to load .Pulling it is no problem I have a 2008 2500 with brake controller just need to know what trailer I need to bring with me
Thank's for the help Val |
Is this a Dually or a Cab and Chassis? I think the Dually is wider. I will measure my Dually width and length today but mine is club cab so it will be a little longer. If you have a 24' or longer gooseneck you should be in great shape to haul the ole ride home. Good luck.

My cab & chassis 1ton dually measures out at 20' long, not sure of the width though I know it is narrower than a dually pickup

Track width, outer dual to outer dual is ~92". That is with 235/85-16 tires.
Weight will be around 5100 for a reg cab, 5500 for xcab. Add 8-900# for 4x4. |
what is a good guess for inside dual to inside dual ? 80 inches ?
|
simplysmn my 92 club cab is 20' 6'' end of bumper to end of bumper. Outside rear track width is 92'' inside track width is 52'' give or take a inch or so on the inside track width, didn't crawl under it to measure kinda muddy. Hope this helps ya. Oh and mine weighs 8400lbs with the headache rack, tool box, big stacks, big front homemade front bumper, alot of tools, and half tank of fuel. A 24' gooseneck will work fine, load her backwards to put the weight over the trailer axles and bring her home.

Dually inner track width for ramps purposes is 49" +/- 1/8" inside shoulder to inside shoulder with 235-85's
|
FWIW, my cab & chassis dually is about 84" outer wall to outer wall.

The sohc motor is awesome. My cousin had one for about 12/14 years and ended up selling it for some big bank. I saw the other day where you can now buy enough parts to build one now. Those engine were pretty B.A. in their day.
