TPS adjustment questions

OK, i checked the adjustment on the TPS Friday and prior tomy changing anything it was reading 0.26 DCV at rest.
I turned it up to 0.80 at rest adn 3.79 at WOT.
I spent the weekend pulling the trailer around and found that the 3-4 shift wasnt happening until around 55-60mph, which seems very high and OD wsnt engaging unless I pumped the fuel pedal and forced it into OD.
I hve lowered the TPS reading to 0.6 at rest and am going to try that, but what MPH shoudul the 3-4 shift be occurring at?? I had thought it was between 35-40, but am not sure..

I do not have a millage by the book , just seeing mine & many , until you mod the trans , I would keep about 45 , I thing that its important to give the stock trans more RPMs , after mod go over this again with trans builder , make a trip to Iowa .

Thanks John, thats in teh range I was thinking it should be. Just got back from testing it at 0.6DCv and its shifting around 47mph, so I guess I got it..
The adjustment on the TPS is rather touchy and loose, I dont see what keeps it from rattling around and changing the setting.

55-60 doesn't seem high for pulling a trailer. You're going to be pushing the pedal down harder towing than just cruising around empty, so it is supposed to shift later.

Would a 32mph 3-4 shift and the fact that it will down shift to 3rd at WOT even at 70-80 have anything to do with each other?

Dan, yes they would... that is similar to what mine was doing before I adjusted the TPS.
I reset mine to 0.6 DCV and now its shifting up at around 47 and down around 40
