Tires: load range D vs. load range E
I have had load range "D" tires get wobbly and mushy hauling heavy, including the fronts. It was hard to keep the darn thing on the road, and harder to keep them cool. The load range "E's" have been solid with no signs of stress under very heavy loads....
oohh nice find!! I am the ALCOA guy... I have them with Toyo MT 265/75 r 16 tires on them, but I found another set of ALCOA wheels on Craigslist off a ford conversion van for 50 bucks!! they're like brand new!! I slapped a new pair of Michelin A/S tires on there for the highway, my MTs were wearing fast on the highway and I'm commuting a lot of miles right now... well have fun with the setup you'll find they balance up quite nice..

yah I looked too and I can't find them anymore. I see a bunch of those Ford Ranger hubcaps minus FORD on them, the generic style, I know they must be somewhere, what about the big warehouse autoparts places JCwhitney et al
