throttle valve?

throttle valve?

Do you raise the shift points by adding gap to the throttle valve or. Closing the gap up

Adding gap lessens the throttle pressure and lowers the shift point. Tightening up the gap will raise the shift points

Is it safe to adjust shift points at throttle valve I don't want to kill my old tranny

There is an article in the sticky to help you with the process. It should not hurt anything in the trans.
