throttle shaft bushing help?!

I just got my gasket kit for my IP and it came with everything I need except the Edit throttle shaft bushing. fortunately for me that is where my leak is Gear Edit! The part number on the kit is DGK121 I thought it was supposed to have this Edit bushing but since it doesn't I need all the help I can get in trying to locate one of those things, and probably a couple valium so i can relax. I need my truck back on the road please help!

The bushing costs about ten bucks more than the seal-kit.

The part-number is in the stickies.

I recently called the pump shop in the next county and the complete seal-kits were about $19, while the throttle-shaft bushing alone was about $28.

The throttle-shaft has an O-ring, included in the seal-kit, that may be your leak.

Thanks for the much needed info. Hopefully it will just be the O-ring and I won't have to replace the bushing too.

I tore it apart last night. Their wasn't ant significant play in the shaft so I just installed a new o-ring, a new pump top gasket, and most importantly a 3200 rpm gov spring . The leak is gone and the gov spring is the best money I've spent on the truck so far, It's like turning the fuel screw in all over agin .

Unless the bushing is completely toast, the o-ring usually does the trick. Glad you got 'er did
