;Dthanks guys on the pump info,took the truck to a mech last night thats between jobs.he is more knowing on the newer pumps and cummins in big equipment but he took the top of the pump off and said the nut that holds the floating shaft was torqued to tight and the shaft was wearing into the pump housing,so he aligned the shaft and torqed to 7 lbs. as spec said.he took it for a 1 mile test run and says it isnt leaking.i drove it home tonight after work and no leak yet.[hope its solved]because of his lack of expertise on these type of pumps he wasnt comfotable tearing it down further.smart i thought.he said for me to drive it a couple of hundred miles if it doesnt leak pay him 40 bux if it does leak i owe nothing.i told him i would pay the 40 bux anyway for his labor,he emphatically said no.really nice guy on the up and up. ps he said that truck gets up and goes,i said its all stock as far as i know.thanks again for the help on this and all the other subjects on these first gen trucks,i love mine,cya bill
