steering problems and need new door hinges

ok first problem...power steering. i think the pump itself is working fine. however, i started to lose power steering over the course of last week. now its totally gone. pain in the rear to try to drive the truck! when i first started having problems, there was no fluid leaking anywhere. thought maybe it was low...checked it and it was full. now, when i steer it and then stop the truck (like as to park and shut it off) fluid flows out of the resivoir cap. also, i noticed that now the bottom side of the power steering gear box is covered in fluid. i bought a reman. gear box. will put it on wed. thought id ask before i do that if there was anything else i could/should do?

second problem...door hinges. i have installed 2 sets of door pins and brass bushings in the past 3 months. also machined a set of pins to fit tighter in the bushings. i have come to the conclusion that the hinges themselves are bad. i have tried looking for a new set but i cant find any. all i need is all 4 pieces for the drivers door. also having problems with the lock on the drivers door. this could be because of the bad hinges, but it is a real pain to unlock the door. takes several tries and the key is hard to turn. i noticed that i can buy a new set of locks for around $15 at autozone but im guessing that they arent much count???

one other thing....a/c compressor has bad bearings. i took it off the truck and put on a belt for non-a/c application. where can i get a rebuild kit for the compressor? a new reman is about $350 where ive seen. any idea how much a rebuild kit is?

change the lines to and from the pump first. they may have collapsed if they are rubber. if not rubber then disregard and replace the pump first then the box. these three components are all that there is to the system so it should be easy to figure out.
if you are going to change out the hinges plan on pulling part of the dash. if my memory is correct one of the top bolts comes from the inside out on the top and bottom hinge. but my memory ain't what it used to be.

Regarding the a/c you should be able to get the compressor clutch hub and pulley. Pretty easy to change and your not messing with the frt shaft seal.

thanks. i will check the lines. i hope that the dash doesnt have to come out to replace the top hinge. i might skip that one then. all the problems seem to be from the lower hinge anyway.
