Steering coupling rebuild

I running on a tight budget so am planning on installing the $7.00 dodge steering coupling rebuild kit. Does anyone know of a link or have a picture of the way it goes together, My shaft was apart when a got the truck so basically I am not sure how all the parts go together. I think I could figure it out but would like to save the trial and error.
thanks Grant

you are talking about the steering pot, i take it. it is really easy to rebuild. as it is already apart. drive the pin out of the center and drive the new pin in and center it( its the big one, about a 1/4") the old one probably isnt that big but it will drive out, clean the old rust and crud out of the box and regrease, install the spring on the pin/shaft assy.the two rub blocks are installed with the rounded sides facing out and slide the thing togetherand tap the little pin in to hold it in place then slide the orange dust boot and locking ring down and tap the locking tabs over the edges of the box.i almost forgot install the dust boot and ring on before driving the new pin in the shaft! one other thing is as it was disassembled first it was probably not indexed and the steering wheel might be off from center it usually isnt off very much but it wont be centered perfectly, then you would have to take the whole thing apart and turn the box around.good luck

Thanks for the reply, I decided to take a look at the parts and it made sense so I just put it together. After reading your post it sounds like I did it right. I will probably only a temporary install as I would like to upgrade to the borgesen type later.
