The title basically says it all. What the heck is going on? A bad ground would cause it to not engage or click, this is acting like a constant hot with key out.

Also, while truck is running the info board lights up wait to start and parking break lights as if I've just inserted the key and turned it to start.

 

Computer going by and cycling the grid heaters?

 

Ignition switch or wiring shorting out?

 

Need to update my sig. Grid heater is deleted, and the signal wire to the grid heater solenoid is also disconnected so that takes them out of the question.

 

Make sure it's parked in the open, because odds are while you're typing about it on your computer, it'll finish shorting out and burn down.

Seriously, get the battery disconnected till you find the short.
