Speed Sensor Question

My speedometer jumps some, especially when doing 70 or more for extended periods. I have replaced it with one from a discount type parts store in the last year or so. I think it is the speed sensor. Would you guys get another 35 dollar one at the same store or price one at dodge?

They dont go out THAT often... I would check your wiring harness for brittleness and chafing, you may have a short in it, and check the ground well. Make sure your connections are clean and tight, especially if you have any oil leaks or such, they can get gunked up pretty easily..
I would also look at the Drive Pinion gear for wear, if it is only happening at speed...
