Hey guys,
I'm new to DTR, but I have had three cummins powered Dodges in the last 2 years, so not quite newbie to diesels, though I have much to learn. Here is my first question:
I just bought a 1991 Dodge W250 reg cab 12v 5sp. The odometer stopped about 4 years ago at 217,451. The motor has been maintained impeccably until last year, when a friend of mine bought it and ran the hell out of it for a year. However, i bought it from him because it still runs like a top. This truck is to be my project truck, and it needs all kinds of cosmetic and body work. What I need to find is a place that sells old dodge interiors, and everything that goes inside the cab of this truck...at very competitive prices. Does anybody have any places in mind? Any answers would be really appreciated. Love this site and I hope to talk to you guys alot. redwake

Good luck, I have always had to search bone yards for trucks w/good interiors for parts for mine. Resto parts for these trucks are slim to none. JC Whitney has some, but I would not use it if you are planning to keep the truck for yourself. Fit, finish and quality are poor.
Look in all the places that you would never expect to find something...I was putting a cap for sale in a local paper, and found a rust free bed off of a '93 from Colorado in there (I live in Maine) The gentleman that I bought it from goes to Colorado to by equipment and brings it back hear to sell. Not a bad idea...I also found JC Whitney is pretty good with some stuff. I replaced a door, fender, tailgate, and carpet from there.
