Just for your information, if there is a pine tree within 3 blocks of the truck, you will find pine needles in it, they are evil...Mark

In other words, r-152a will blow about 10 degrees cooler than 134a, roughly equivalent to r12.

pulled the cycling switch off a junkyard pick in pull... that may be one you have to mod to work a "like type" model that achieves the same effect, the line fitting should be standard it's just if it's a 2 or 3 prong dongle on the end, I can't remember off the top of my head.

Mine was acting up so I moved it in and out out tube in the pressure line. So far it has worked for almost a year now. there is a special heat conducting grease that is used on the probe, Might be worth a try putting new grease on there before buying a new part.

Have less grease would have the same effect as pulling the probe out. So the compressor would run longer before switching off.

I'm going to check my charge. Like one of the posters mentioned.

I have an adjustable fin temp switch in mine. It has a probe that slides into the evaporator, and a rotary dial for cut out temp. Its set to cut out at 32degrees to prevent freeze up. I suppose in drier climates I could set the temp lower, but it works great for me here in Wisconsin. Found it in an everco catalog a few years ago. Under $50 if I remember correctly.
