Replace king pins thread in sticky

Hi guys, I just wanted to let you guys know that some of the threads in the sticky had the photos deleted. If you are doing a job like the king pins, take a look at the top of the thread and you will see a notice that the thread has been archived. If you click on that you will find the entire thread, including the photos. I was trying to find a way to replace the photos in some of my threads that are in the sticky, without any luck. So just click on the archive notice at the top of the thread and you will find the entire thread, including the photos. I recommend that any thread that you did and is in the sticky should be archived as a precaution. We need to preserve these threads because they are not stickyed because they are not helpful…Mark

MANY thanks!

I rely on these, the collective knowledge of those that have gone before. In many cases (maybe most), these are better than the FSM and others The photos are invaluable as well. I print them out but then they become grease covered and stained.

Thanks maybe368,

Thanks KRB, that is very nice of you to say. I’m not too sure as to who is running the operation here anymore. One thing that I have learned in life is that change is inevitable, if we like it or not. I am still vetting all of the mew members and have no problem with that but I am not a spring chicken anymore. The one thing that keeps me going is working on my cars and truck. There js a boat lode of information in the sticky and it is still relevant…Mark also you all should come to Az where you don’t need to bathe, the climate does that for you.

I too use this site, and sticky threads to guide me through some of my dumb adventures.
Because I've lost other sites that i had bookmarked I have started to use Microsoft One Note web clipper to save whole website pages, and with images into a personal archive.
I might need to start going through the stickies and doing them for posterity.

Have at it. That is what it is there for. There is a ton of good stuff, many of it from members that are no longer with us, in various ways…Mark

That is really cool. I believe that we need to archive everything in the sticky, It is a big job. It is a great resource. We have to keep these old rigs going, including me😎…Mark
