Radiator flush/cleanout?

Today at work my shop chief called me and asked if I had seen my truck recently? Kinda confused me, then he said cause theres a river of fluid running from underneath it! HaHaHa! I didn't think it so funny, but went to take a look at it and had anti freeze all under the truck. The lower tube/flange on the radiator broke off. So I JB welded it and it seems to be holding to get me home , but I noticed a bunch of growth. It is a white chalky substance and was curious if I should just get a new radiator or is there a good chemical to flush the system with? I can get a new radiator for $226. What ya'll think I should do?

Thanks for the tip. I'll look into it. My buddies girlfriend's father.......'s, babies moma's cousin. Owns a radiator distribution "deal". Said he could sell me the new radiator for $226; retails for a little over 300 normally. I kinda figured he could do better than that, but I am just the friend of a friend. Anyways, thanks for the info. We'll see what they say. Oh, at some point before I got the truck the fan hit the radiator and flattened a lot of the fins in the shape of the fan, So.....?

I would just go ahead and get a new radiator. That's pretty cheap.
