Question about Rear Anti-Lock Valve...........
I have been troubleshooting my brake system over the last few days. I have done almost all the "usual" things that people suggest for correcting spongy/long traveling brake pedals. I'm now down to testing the RABS valve (Rear ABS) or rear anti-lock dump valve, as some folks call it. Does anyone know what size of fittings are used on this valve? I need to know so I can get the correct inverted brake fitting caps to plug it off and isolate the brake system. This is part of troubleshooting/process of elimination for me and determining if indeed the anti-lock valve is causing my pedal issues.
Have You Checked Your Vacum Pumps To Make Sure They Are Both Pulling? That Was One Of The Issues I Had With Mine. I Also Tossed My Abs Unit Which Did Help Also. Still Didn't Give Me The Best Peddle I Could Have. Converted To Disc Brakes In The Rear, And The Thing Will Put Me Through The Windshield Now By Just Touching The Peddle. I Know This Isn't Exactly What You Were Looking For, Just Thought It Might Keep You From Waisting Some Time.
