Push rods

I have the head off and was looking at the push rods and they made a wear ring about a 1/2in from the top of the push rod and my truck has a lot of miles on it and I was wondering if I should put new ones in sence im puting 60lb valve springs and going twins and hope for a 3800 gov spring.

Wouldn't hurt, IIRC they are only 5 bucks each.

What'cha reckon is making the wear-ring?

From what I've learned, the stock Cummins rods tend to flex quit a bit, perhaps increasing with RPM. But generally in the sense of high performance, reducing that flex results in better valve-train control along with higher flow.

How far were they out of adjustment?
You got any pics of this wear ring to post up?

about a year ago i adjusted them and the exhaust was almost around .054 after that the motor was much quieter. Im going to try to post pics if i can figure out how. I found some on pdi website that are made for higher rpm for $180 for 12.
