I just put a 89 non IC inj pump on my truck, my stock one took a dump on me the other night. So what the pros and cons about them? I also put a 366 spring it and new top hat seal.

 

I am pretty sure the pumps are the same. I think I read somewhere that the delivery valves are different.

 

I've noticed that when I turn up a non IC it always really touchy and responds better than a IC pump

Delivery valves are different. KSB works backwards from an IC pump. I was under the impression that the throttle linkage was different but obviously not if it all hooked up for you....? And non Ic trucks have bigger injectors so they respond better.

 

I used my throttle parts the non ic pump as well as the top hat because the govenor shafts are different lenghts
